Alpha Jake did what he promised he would do, he showed me around the pack lands, it was nice here, not as big as the kingdom but it was really nice here, there was only three hundred in this pack, all of them seemed really nice, only a few would look at me and scowl at me because i was walking with their alpha, it was strange, why would they look at me like that, sighing as we walked together he looked over at me with a worried look,

‘What's wrong, Tony, are you not happy here?” I was happy here. i was really happy here, but i was worried about what people would think of me when i'm always around him, so i told him that,

‘i'm really happy here, but i feel like all i do is be around you, and i feel that people don't like it, i don't want to cause any drama here, maybe we should cool it for awhile and let people calm down,” I looked down because when i looked into his eyes i saw hurt, and i didnt like to see that in anyone's else including him, he lifted my chin up with his fingers so i could look at him,

“Is the paperwork prepared?’ he nodded and then said,

“Yes Alpha,” all three of us walked back inside into the office. He looked it over and then gave me to read, then signed it, he swore me in, and that was it,

“Your duties are as a beta. You go to meetings with me. make sure no one tries to attack, you take phone calls and check emails, ill give you my email and password so you can get inside and check them, you will also help with paperwork when i can’t do it, plus from time to time you will be left here while Jackson and i got to meetings that means you will be in charge until i get back, other than that, its done and signed,”

“Thank you Alpha Jake, that's very kind of you, but i haven't been charge of a pack before, i was always the captain of the warriors always making them train and run laps to get their legs stronger, and so on,”

“Well Tony, we already have a head captain for the warriors but if you would like to go out there and watch every now in then, maybe you can teach them a few things starting tomorrow, you will also be co captain how about that?” My eyes lit up,

“I would love to, thank you.”

“But don't forget your duties in the pack house, you're my Gamma now, so make sure you train in the mornings, and then the afternoon is work.” i felt like this was going way too fast, and he had a purpose to keep me close to him, but right now is not the time for me to talk to him about this. Right now, Jackson is in the room, and I don't want to confront him while he’s in the same room. getting up from the chair i was sitting in,

“I will see you tomorrow after noon than, i'm going to my room to relax, this is a lot to take in right now, I left shutting the door behind me, but i stood there for a few seconds, i heard a little bit before i walked away,

“When are you going to tell her?’

“Im hoping she would feel it before i tell her, but i have a feeling she has a block up right now,” i walked off, not knowing what they were talking about,

“If you take your block down, than you will know, i feel it, i really didn't feel it with jackson, i knew we were mates, but i also knew it wasn't going to last long, don’t ask me how, i just knew,

“I don't know. May, if i put it down, then what, i might hurt Jackson,”

“Why would you worry? he went on, he's not even looking at us like he used to, he's given up, he's still in mourning Toni, he's not going to be ready until he wants to be.”

“I don't know. Lets just do what we have been doing, enjoy his company, get to know him, make sure he really wants us instead of just wanting s*x,” May went back in my head as i sat there on the bed, i was about to go take a shower when there was a knock on my door, now, who in the heck could that be, i opened the door and there stood a female standing right in the hallway looking at me,

‘Can i help you? Are you lost?”

“What i want you to help me with is for you to stay away from Alpha Jake,” laughing as i stepped out my room to stand right in front of her, i don't like being told what to do, this was a challenge and i do not take to kindly to challenges,

“Are you challenging me, little girl? she took a few steps back with her hand behind her back. She had something she was holding behind her. i stepped to her again,

‘I asked if you were challenging me? I growled, showing her I was not scared of her. Then it happened. She threw something in my face, blinding me for a few seconds. That's when I felt a sharp, cold metal. going into my side. i remembered my training, as i stepped to the side kicking her, i heard a yelp and a loud thump with her falling to the ground, we did this in training, with a blindfold on, we had to rely on our hearing and senses, she got up she was trying to be quite, as she came at me with the dagger again, this time i felt the air when she raised her arm again, i missed and she stabbed me again this time in my shoulder, before she could pull the dagger out of my shoulder, i grabbed her arm breaking it, she screamed out in pain, i kept ahold of her arm, i turned kicking her in the stomach, that's when i heard him,

‘WHAT THE f**k IS GOING ON!!!!”
