Leeann pov
Since I took the day off at my restaurant, I decided to help out at the hotel. we had a few flucks but we took care of them right away, I was in one of the rooms painting the walls i had to cover everything up with plastic before i started on it, for the life of me i didn't know why we didn't paint first before we put everything in the rooms, it would had made it a lot easier, the others that wanted to help was from my pack, they wanted to help paint, so each girl or guy was in each room, they have five rooms each to paint, i'm just hoping that it looks good, i mean the rooms do not have to look all the same, it can have the light blue with white trimming or vice versa, it just depends what they wanted to do, once my fifth room was painted i decided to go check up on the crew, I saw Sassy first, she had painted a old look she mixed some of the blue with the white and painted the rooms, it was an off color but it looked really pretty, she did the trimming in white than painted the rest in the off color, it actually brighten up the room, i was impressed, I knew she loved to work but not this much, i went from room to room looking at the paint, i didn't realize how many rooms we had until i got to the very top, and i was thinking of building onto the hotel just incase we decided to have balls here, it took most of the day and some of the night to finish the rooms, we decided to leave the plastic on everything until it dries, it should be dried tomorrow., so when i get done with work ill come here to get the plastic off the furniture. Sassy stood beside me while we were outside, she looked exhausted but still had a smile on her pretty face,
“Lee, do you think we're going to find our mates at this alpha ball? i'm eighteen, and I still haven't found him.” i felt a little bad for her, when she turned eighteen she shifted hoping that her mate was in the pack, she had a huge crush on timothy and vice versa, but once she shifted she found out that they weren’t mates. she didn't want to break up, but he did. He said it wouldn't be fair if he found his mate, and he had to break her heart. It would be easier this way. it seems all the good women always get their hearts broken, i hugged her and told her,
“You know what. any man would be lucky to have you as a mate, and if hes not at that stupid alpha ball im sure he will be somewhere looking for you as you are looking for him,” she hugged me back tightly thanking me for her comfort,
“Lee, i know you really don't want to go to this ball thing, but i would like for you to go with me, so we can just hang out together, you know to friends just hanging out until we find our mates,” laughing i told her she was just being silly,
“I don't want to go i hate these things, But i told Tonie was i was going with her so you can go with us, she shrieked jumping up and down clapping her hands, this girl is a girlie girl she loved to dress up with heels and makeup, i hated it, but everyone is different,
“You know we need to get our hair done, with our nails and toes,” there is noone going to touch my feet, unless its me doing it myself, my feet are too ticklish for anyone to do my feet.
“You know Lee, I wondered if some of the non alphas will be there, you know the betas or gammas, if i'm not an alpha's mate, i could be a beta or a gamma mate, right?”
“I don't know you could be. But i think they will be bringing some of their pack with them so you never know,” she agreed and said her goodbyes before she got into her car and took off to head home, she knew i was going to go to my restaurant to check out to make sure everything is going okay, at least help clean and close up the place. When I got there, Izzy had already made sure everything was cleaned up, all the employees had went home and she was there about to lock up, i was so glad I hired her on, she knew how to take care of the place, she treated it like this place was her own. i had two closing managers, one would close for three days the other would do the other three and than i would close on Sundays who am i kidding, i come by and sometimes stay all day to make sure everything goes well, i'm the owner i have to make sure everyone is happy including the humans that come here to eat, i was almost to my car when i heard someone clear their throat, I turned and met the most handsome man i have ever seen, but i also knew what was going to come, he didn't want me, so i closed my heart off so i wouldn't get hurt to much,
‘Can I help you sir, are you lost?” I knew he was a beta from another pack that was coming here for the alphas ball, he didn't know who i was and i wasn't going to tell him who i was i waited for the rejection,
“Im sorry but i'm already in love with someone, i didn't know i still had a mate out there, i thought you was dead, so i chose someone, please do not be angry,”How could i be angry we didn't have a bond, i didn't know who he was, but i lnew he was from the Blue moon pack, he was alpha Daxon Beta.
“I'm not angry, my name is Leeann Gov. i'm sure you want to get back to her, so please, let's just get this over with,” he nodded and said the words
I Govy bloon rejected you Leeann Gov as my mate and Beta female for life,
“I Leeann Gove accepts your rejection, you may go now, i need to get home and i promise when i see you tomorrow, i will pretend i do not know you,” I waited until he left as i fell to my knees,
“Are you okay Lee, this gets harder with each rejection. I'm so sick of these men”
“Calm down girl, its okay, im meant to be alone so im fine i promise, let's just get home and take a hot shower i need to get cleaned up and make sure mom doesnt know about this,” She sighed as she said,
“I think she already knows, she can feel things like this Lee, she knows about the other rejection as well but she hasn't said anything, she doesn't want you upset so she tries to let you handle things.” I sighed as i got into my car, let's just get home, shower and just pass out, i think i'm just going to skip training tomorrow morning and just stay in my room all day,
