Justin pov

I knew I hadn't talked to my mate in a few weeks. What I did know was she already had a mate. I knew what I went through when I had my first mate, and she got killed by a rogue attack. I'm not sure how I feel right now, I knew it was too soon for another mate. But once I knew she was there I had to make her all mine but in the morning I just didn't I couldn't. I told her I would be back for her in two weeks. To make sure everything is packed up and ready to go, but once I was back home. My thoughts were going crazy. “f**k it, fine. But she's not sleeping in my room, have the help make a room for her beside mine, I'll be back in a few days.” So here I am on my way to get her. Her things are probably not even packed anymore, so I asked the alpha if he could just have his sister buy some stuff for her. Since she will be coming with me with nothing but the clothes on her back.” He linked back and said done. The clothes will be here in a few hours so hurry your ass up and go get her.” Sighing I made my way through town heading to the kingdom to the mate that I'm not even sure that I want right now. It's only been two years since Melissa has been gone, just two years that I found her stabbed to death by rogues. That memory will haunt me forever, now I'm on my way to get my second chance. They let me through the gates as I intended. I saw the warriors train and I saw her right away. I parked the car walking over to her, Tony, she turned facing me with a shocked look on her face.

“I'm sorry I'm late. But I had to tend to some matters. I know your probably not packed anymore. So we are leaving things behind. We will come back and get them later on. But the alpha is demanding to meet you. So can we please just go.” She looked shocked when I held her hand leading the way to the car. Once there she got over her shock and snatched it away from me.

“Why did you come back for me now when all this time I heard nothing from you.” I sighed letting out air when I said.

“I told you honey. I had matters to take care of before I came and got you. I'm truly sorry for making you wait. I hope soon you will forgive me.” But knowing me I would not care if she did or not. Once she was a pack member she was on her own, I'll just use her for a release or something. But I'm not ready for another mate. When we finally got back home. Alpha Jake was waiting for us at the end of the steps. We both got out and she bowed her head to him.
