chapter 7;

Some minutes after, my worst nightmare, Ace came in. His eyes scanned the class until it finally landed on mine. The corners of his mouth lifted into a smile, but it turned to a frown when he noticed who I was sitting with.

"You're late, Mr. Hunter!" Mr. Thomas called after Ace as he waded through the chairs to the seat behind us.

"Can you just skip that and go on with lectures, Mr. Thomas sir?" Ace shouted back angrily at him.

For the few days I've known Ace, he has always been this angry , persistent good looking guy which I'm already starting to get used to but for some reason I suddenly feel uneasy with him right at my back today. Mr.thomas ignored him and continued with his class.

"Thank you for walking with me," Max whispered into my ears.

I felt butterflies arising in my stomach while Ace groaned behind us.

Finally, English class is over.

I was walking out with Max when a pair of unknown hands curled around my waist.

"Babe, where are going leaving me"

Ace whispered in my ear as he came up beside me. I tried to wriggle out of his grasp, but he held on tightly to my waist.

“ Get your hands off me dude “ I said still struggling

“ No” he said with a smirk on his face,He looked up and realized that Max was beside me.

Ace ran his fingers through his hair angrily

."What the heck are you doing with my girlfriend?" He yelled, slamming a helpless max against the wall.what the f**k is wrong with this dude why would he throw a human being like that and what did max ever did to him to always make him angry.

"Ace, what the hell are you doing? We were just talking and his being nice," I yelled then pulled Ace away from his grip.

"Yeah right, f**k nice," Ace yelled back.“ I don't want to f*****g see him around you."

"You can't order me around, I'm not your f*****g property,nor your stupid girlfriend" I snapped at him and the whole audience gasped.

If looks could kill, I would have been six feet under with the ground with the look Ace gave me. He gazed at me for a very long time before walking away. I heaved a sigh of relief when he was finally out of sight.

Oh Poor Max, i rushed to him!"Are you okay?" I asked.

He nodded his head in the affirmative and gave me his best smile. I squatted to check if he sustained an injury, with the way Ace slammed him against the wall. Thankfully, he didn't have any wounds.

"Should we go to the school nurse, I can take you?" I offered, then pulled him up.

He forced a smile.

"I'll be fine Stella, you should go before Ace comes back."

‘f**k you Ace and your temper! You just ruined a moment for me’ , I mustered as I turned back and went to Sofia's locker.

"You'll never guess what happened between me and Ace," I told her.

She faced me with a mischievous grin on her face. "I heard and did alot of people.You guys were pretty shouting out loud."

“ Yeah and that's not all ,he showed to my house this morning after dropping me a bunch of stupid text through out the weekend and introduced himself to my mom as my boyfriend”

“ What no way!? She said acting a little unsurprised

“ Yeah and he keeps on calling me his girlfriend saying that that's what we agreed on that night at the party playing truth or dare, when did I agree to such atrocity ”

”and now he got yelling In to hall like a maniac”

“yeah you were yelling pretty loud back there, so unlike you “ Sofia said still not much surprised about my whole story.

My brows drew together. "Ugh! What an asshole! He's just good at bringing out the worst in me."

Sofia smiled. "I don't know girl Maybe one day, you'll love how he brings out the worst in you and maybe someday he'll bring the best too," she said and closed her locker.

I rolled my eyes at her. "Why would I love that he brings the worst in me?" I queried her.

She gave a half shrug.

“ And why are you even supporting him and your also not much surprised by my whole weekend and house story” I said giving her the suspicious gaze but she gave me a smile and a half shrug and that's when it me

“ Huhhhh”I gasped looking at my so called best friend

“ Sofi, were you the one that gave Ace my phone number and my address”

“ Wellllll”

“ Sofi No”

“ A little bit yes and no” she blurted, I looked at her confused

“ Jason gave him your house address” she confessed “remember he dropped us off after the party and as of your number I gave it to him, well technically I gave it Jason and Jason gave it to him” she explained while I looked at her still very much confused

“ Jason texted me asking for your number saying that Ace needs it and I gave it to him”

“ Well why would you do that?” I asked a little bit annoyed already

But Just then, I heard the sound of the school bell. Giving sofi an opportunity to run away and I walked to chemistry class.

Throughout the rest of the day, I avoided Ace and luckily he did the same ,wow I must I really hurt his feelings huh.

Anyway I don't care,Whatever the dare they pulled me into is all about, I don't care he can do whatever he wants or call me whatever he wants. Just one month and I'll be free. I would go back to my old life without all these troubles. The peaceful life I've always lived in before I came across Ace Hunter. I went home with Sofia and Jason. Obviously they've started having a thing going on but sofi hasn't told me anything.other wise why would she had given up my number to him just like that.
