"Where's Papa and Kuya, Ma?" tanong ko kay Mama ng makapasok kame sa mansyon.
I was sitting at the high chair while she was busy cooking something. Tinakpan nito ang kaldero saka naglakad papunta sa fridge.
"Your Papa and Kuya is at the company. Tal, mamaya we'll have dinner with the Mercado's."
Kumunot ang noo ko. "Mama, I understand that you'll be merging the companies with them but does Kuya have to really marry someone he doesn't love?"
I felt a slight sting in my heart. Xian Dash married me when clearly he's in love with someone else.
