I can’t believe he remembered, where the heck did he get it from, as I doubt that the small antiques shop is still there after all this time. So many places shut down over the years due to rising costs, and I can’t see that he managed to get it online since bumping into me yesterday. I glance over at the firefighter, finding him watching me intensely, his fingers digging into the sweater that he still holds in his hands. ‘Do you like it?’ he asks softly, studying me.
