The car ride was silent, except for Y/N’s racing heart. Jungkook sat beside her, legs spread, fingers adorned with silver rings drumming against his knee. His presence was suffocating, intoxicating. They pulled up to a mansion—no, a fortress. Gated, guarded, and far from anything familiar. Y/N’s breath hitched as she stepped out, only for Jungkook’s hand to grip her waist, keeping her close. “You’re mine now,” he murmured, voice thick with possession. “You’ll stay where I can see you.” She turned to him, defiant. “You can’t just keep me here.” Jungkook chuckled, dark and amused. “I already have.” Inside, the luxury was overwhelming—marble floors, chandeliers, a bedroom bigger than her entire dorm. But it wasn’t comfort. It was a cage. That night, he found her standing by the window, staring at the gates. His fingers trailed down her arm, making her shiver. “Thinking of running?” She swallowed hard. “I don’t belong here.” Jungkook’s grip tightened slightly. “No, sweetheart. You belong to me.” His lips brushed against her ear. “And soon, you won’t want to leave.” A terrifying thought struck her—maybe he was right. ....
