EMMALINE I had pondered my fathers tale of an abused man and the heroic love shown by Pneuma, his rescuer, for most of the night and much of the following day. We are raised with history books describing a very different version of the story and the Goddess Pneuma, known for her title as the Goddess of Old Souls and Greed. Something about the whole saga has bothered me. Perhaps because my father is continually hunted for defending himself while the Goddess Belavina is regarded as a saint that was murdered without mercy. Whichever story is true, I have somehow found myself in the middle of a feud I didn’t even know was still raging on. A feud between divine beings. That mighty inconvenient problem still seems largely insignificant in comparison to my current problem. Like a storm far off
