NOVENA
I startle myself awake, coming out of a particularly disturbing nightmare. I was stuck in that tiny room, facing that incredibly large wolf with nothing but empty hands. Except, the wolf didn’t change back into Zelus when I called to him, instead the beast had grown into something far worse. Something that raised the hairs on my arms even now. I shudder thinking of the rest of the nightmare, but that’s all it is. Just another nightmare. I haven’t had one since being brought here. I had almost forgotten about the nightmares that made me relive my traumas night after night. The thought of them returning to haunt my sleeping mind has my mood soured for the morning already.
