[Bay’s pov]
It’s been a week since Alex was brought home. The picture of her torn up and covered in blood still haunts my vision. I’ve spent everyday since then studying and training with Uncle Cam, my skills have sharpened along with my knowledge of supernatural beings and laws.
A throat cleared and I turned my head towards the door of the library. “Queen Alex is awake now sir, if you would like to go see her” Dessi bowed and made an exit as i thanked her.
I’m so relieved that she’s finally awake. It’s been a living hell not knowing if she was going to pull through. But I'm not sure if I'm ready to see her. What if she’s still a bloody mess? I’m not sure I'd be able to keep myself from going to the dungeons and killing that man.
