Two years ago:
Chicago
Nicholas POV
I went to Chicago to attend a business meeting. I was on the way to the meeting place and I was inside my car looking on the window when the car stopped and I saw her. The most beautiful woman that capture my attention for the very first time. She is somehow different from any other woman I have known and hooked-up. There was this feeling inside me that I couldn’t explained nor understand, it was red light and oh thank God I was able to see more of her, she was like out of the blue, she was looking on the traffic lights, lost in thoughts I could say.
I was about to get off the car but the engine started to go, I freak out a bit. “Fuck.” I murmur. “What is it Nick?” Darren asked me, Darren is my assistant and my closest cousin. Aside from Olivia I trust him the most. “Did you see that?” I said.
“See what Nick?” He asked surprised.
“That f*****g gorgeous Darren!” I said almost shouting and looking at the back of the car trying to spat the woman but I couldn’t see her anymore since my driver is driving so fast. Oh well, I ordered him to drive fast because I don’t want to be late in the meeting.
“Oh come on Nick, we can’t be late in this meeting, you know how important this is to us. Maybe we can chase her after.” Darren told me smirking.
We came in the meeting place right on time and the meeting went well but my mind wasn’t.
During the whole meeting my mind was occupied with her beauty. I could not forget her; it is indeed a mesmerizing beauty. What the f**k is going on with me? I am now feeling irritated because of this unusual feeling I have never felt in my entire life, I have dated lots of women before celebrities, like models, actresses even some daughters of my business associates, but the impact of these women to me is nothing compared to what this woman is giving me now, and what so driving me so f*****g crazy is that I just saw her one time, just one time on that f*****g street. I am so freaking right now, how can I get her and see her again?
I couldn’t help myself, good thing Darren is with me to handle the meeting and settled things out.
“What’s wrong with you dude? Don’t tell me that woman you just saw earlier?” Darren said while tapping my shoulder.
We were in my hotel room. I was sitting on a long back sofa chair drinking my scotch. “I need to find her.” I said very annoyed because of the fact that I didn’t know how I can find her. I don’t even know her name, even if I hired the best detective. Finishing my scotch, I stood up and head to the bathroom. I heard him yelling. “This is no good man; let’s just go to the club.”
After I shower, I see Darren not in the room, maybe he went down or maybe he went to his room, or he went to the club. I picked up my phone from the table and dial Olivia’s number. “Hello my sweetheart how was the meeting?” A cheerful voice welcomes me on the other line. I sigh and tell her to not call me sweetheart because I feel like the word does not suit my personality.
Actually she is calling me in different nicknames since when I was a kid, but I am not a kid anymore. “I called you because I was thinking about what you told me before.” I said to her.
“And what was it bunny?” I am sure she heard my long sigh because she was chuckling on the other line.
“I want to get married now.” A moment of silence but I can sense that Olivia is trying to hide her laughter.
“Honey, did I hear it right?”
“I am being serious Olivia.”
“Okay, you want to get married now? As in now now?” She said as if shocked, that I could not understand what were really her thoughts about it.
“I am not joking Olivia.”
“Alright I get it, but how can you get married honey? Do you even have a girlfriend? Well who is she? Where is she? How come I didn’t know her?”
“Olivia, I saw the woman I want to get married this morning.” I said.
“Well then bring her here in London.” She said with her soft voice and I could feel excitement too.
“I will.” I answered confidently with a cocky smile. But then after I turned off my phone, I thought to myself. “How?”
