Love Is In The Air

CHAPTER-II FIRST MEET

It was 12 in the afternoon and Dhruvi still couldn't believe that Gaurav was coming there to live with her and they both are gonna be in a relationship. She was very anxious about all the happenings. She was really very nervous as talking on f*******: was way more easier than meeting him personally and getting to know each other be in a relationship and go through all the lovey-dovey phase of a couple but she knew she had to do it because it is a dream come true he is gonna be here her own personal rajkumar. After about 15 minutes she got a text from Devansh that they reached and now are in the lift. She quickly went inside and brought the veneration plate and kept it on the side table. The bell rang and she opened the door and there he was Her Prince Charming with her brother standing in all his glory and then he just gave her a heart melting smile. Dhruvi came out of her trance and quickly took the veneration plate and applied tilak on his forehead and started his arti. After the veneration she invited them in and sat them on the sofa. She went into the kitchen and got 3 glasses of smoothies on a serving plate. She brought one glass of Strawberry smoothie and two glasses of Chocolate smoothie. She gave the Strawberry smoothie to Gaurav and the Chocolate smoothie. Gaurav, "It's delicious thank you for the smoothie Dhruvi." Devansh, "Arey toh behen kiski hai she makes the most delicious food ek baar khane ke baad ungliya chaatte reh jaaoge. You won't believe that she is the most pampered princess of the house even though she is the eldest in Gajre family she is the most pampered princess. Her father treats and pampers her as if she is a little girl but at the same time he never restricts her freedom. The time when she decided to learn cooking her father was so worried for her that she might burn her hand or something but he never interfered in her decision he let her learn and today here she is mastering everything she cooks. Tell her to cook anything and she will do it so exceptionally that you will forget she is just 17 and treat her as some chef in a 7-star hotel." Dhruvi, "Offo bhaii enough of praises for me I am still a novice and am learning okay and yeah the thing which you told about me being pampered is the absolute truth and I just love being pampered by Papa. I feel like I am 5 to be taken care of se carefully held like a fragile piece of glass in my Papa's safe cocoon."

Devansh,"Yeah yeah princess I agree but I need a permission from you." Dhruvi, " What bhaii? You know na you don't need to ask permission for anything." Gaurav was just watching the brother-sister duo talking admiring his girl. Devansh,"Woh I wanna talk your boyfriend out for a stroll lemme just show him the garden kk?" Dhruvi, "Of course Bhaii no need to ask."

OUTSIDE IN THE GARDEN

Devansh and Gaurav were casually strolling in the garden when Devansh suddenly stopped and became serious startling Gaurav. Devansh,"Gaurav I need to talk with you and it's important." Gaurav,"Yeah no worries just tell me what you wanna say."

Devansh,"See Gaurav I wanna talk to you about my sister it's not like I don't believe you or think you will hurt or betray her than it's not like that it's just as a brother I want confirmation from you that you will keep her happy always never let any harm cross her way." Gaurav,"Yeah I can understand and I wanna be absolutely honest with you and tell you everything. I know Dhruvi since the last two years and I have always kept tabs on her and there is a reason. It is because she is the only one who has kept me sane since the last two years. We met at an award function two years back. I lost a dearest relative of mine and I was really depressed because of his death. Coming to the award function I didn't had the heart to attend it but I had to because of my earlier commitments and I had to go. After half the function I came out of the function it was pouring heavily. I stood outside besides my car and she like an angel she is came to me and tapped my shoulder I turned around and she saw through my facade of false happiness and told me." Dhruvi,"I know you are not fine and it's okay to be not fine it's not a big deal it's wrong when people say men shouldn't cry and stuff because everyone needs to vent out and you need it too. I will not ask you why you are upset because kuch cheeze aisi hoti hai jinhe baatne se dukh kam nahi hota but woh cheeze yaad aane lagti hai jo aur dukh deti hai. So just vent it out alone because you need it and here take this. Bye I hope you will feel better soon." Dhruvi handed him her umbrella and went back. Gaurav,"When she handed me the umbrella and went out just like the butterfly she is my beautiful butterfly she brought me out of my grief. She is the light of my happiness and that is the reason I keep tabs on her. I love her and will always do. So there is no reason for you to worry about her well being I will keep her like the princess she is and never let her down nor will disappoint you all."

After these talks both came inside and Devansh told Dhruvi that he is going out as he has a meeting with some foreign delegates and bid her bye.

Dhruvi,"Gaurav please have a seat I am in the kitchen and the remote is on the left do watch whatever you want I will just come in a jiffy." Gaurav nodded.
