Chapter 09: Unleashing your Techniques

1526 Words
Adam raised an eyebrow, "Do you want to die?" "Mr. Pierrot, what are you..." Katie hurriedly spoke, fearing that Adam might suddenly attack and harm someone. Dominick chuckled, "Miss Hartley, to be honest, you are the most beautiful and elegant woman I have ever seen. As long as you agree to stay and be my lover, I guarantee you a lifetime of wealth and luxury." Katie's face changed, "Mr. Pierrot, please have some decorum!" "Decorum? Pretty little thing, let me spell it out for you. You're going to be my woman whether you want it or not. My advice would be to keep your head down and heed my words, spare yourself unnecessary pain..." Before Dominick could finish his sentence, he couldn't bear it any longer and pounced towards Katie. Katie screamed and turned to run. Boom! Suddenly, a loud noise rang out as Dominick's two-hundred-pound body was sent flying backward, crashing into the solid wooden office desk. "Damn..." "Damn, dared to hit Mr. Pierrot. I'll kill you." Two burly men angrily cursed and rushed towards Adam. Adam raised his leg and kicked the two men away. Then, like a shadow, he followed up with a series of kicks. The two men were helpless and were sent flying out of the office, crashing through the door. Adam walked up to Dominick, who was lying on the floor, and coldly said, "If you owe money, it is only natural to return it. Didn't your parents teach you any manners?" Dominick covered his abdomen with his hands, his face twisted in pain. He then howled like a wild beast, "You son of a b***h! I'll make sure to f**k her in front of y—" Slap! Adam interrupted him with a resounding slap, causing Dominick to spit out blood. With a chilling tone, Adam said, "Do you want to die? I can grant your wish." Dominick shivered in fear, feeling the palpable killing intent from Adam. However, considering it was his own turf and the hundreds of henchmen downstairs, Dominick didn't think he would lose. "Dare you to kill me? Do you think you can leave alive if you kill me? Today, you're dead. No one can save you. I'm telling you this straight." Dominick gritted his teeth, trying to appear strong. He was gambling that Adam wouldn't dare. Adam sneered and raised his hand. "Stop!" Suddenly, Katie rushed forward and grabbed Adam's arm, looking anxious. She was afraid that Adam might suddenly become violent. "Don't kill him; it's not worth it. While their people haven't arrived yet, let's take the money and leave quickly." As she finished speaking, a series of thunderous footsteps rapidly approached. In the blink of an eye, dozens of thugs carrying steel pipes stormed into the office. Dominick, supporting himself with the desk, sneered, "Want to leave? Too late! Attack! Drag the man out and beat him to death. Lock the woman in a cage!" Dominick, with the help of the desk, propped himself up. "You think of yourself as a woman of integrity, huh? Daddy will have to teach you a good lesson. In this world, there is no woman I can't get my hands on!" Katie, trembling with fear, held onto Adam's arm tightly. Adam patted her hand reassuringly and said, "Don't be afraid; I'm here. I promise that no one will be able to hurt you."  Katie worriedly said, "Can you handle them all by yourself? There are too many of them." Adam smiled, "Don't worry, these guys are no match for me."  "Be careful," she cautioned.  Adam nodded, turned around to face the crowd, and unleashed a menacing aura.  c***k! Without hesitation, Adam stomped and broke Dominick's right leg to prevent him from harming Katie in the chaos. "Ah ah... damn it, you son of a b****, attack!" Dominick screamed like a slaughtered pig. Boom, boom... Dozens of thugs swarmed in, steel pipes flying through the air, emitting a cold light. The countless shadows were like a tidal wave, attempting to overwhelm Adam. Boom, boom, boom... Adam used both hands and feet, his figure twisting and turning. The thugs in front of him collectively spat blood and flew backward. Crack! He broke the wrist of one thug, snatched the steel pipe from his hand, and swiftly swung it like the wind. Bang, bang, bang, the thugs charging towards him had their facial bones crushed, teeth shattered, and blood sprayed from their mouths and noses. In a single move, the steel pipe couldn't withstand the force of Adam. No one could get within a radius of three feet from Adam. His defense was so tight that it was impossible for his enemies to get through it. In three minutes, all the thugs lay on the ground, wailing and moaning. Some had broken hands, some had fractured legs, and others were unconscious, their fates uncertain. The office was in chaos, blood staining the floor! Dominick was terrified! This... this couldn't be possible. Was he a demon? How could so many people not be a match for him? Moreover, he knew his own men very well. These were not ordinary people who couldn't fight; they were elite thugs he had carefully cultivated. Katie was also stunned, her small mouth slightly open, a somewhat cute expression on her face. For the first time, she experienced what it meant to feel safe! He used his arms to carry a mountain for her, holding up the sky! Unafraid of storms, undaunted by swords. With him around, no one could harm her. "Are you okay?" Adam asked gently. Katie shook her head, her eyes filled with complexity. Adam's tenderness momentarily made it difficult for her to adapt. Whether on the battlefield or in a retreat, he could be both fierce and gentle. Was this really possible?  "As long as you're fine. Just wait for me for a moment."  Adam turned to look at Dominick. "Is this all you've got? Feel free to use any tricks you have." Dominick shivered and cursed, "Bastard, don't get too cocky. I have plenty of men. Just wait and see." Adam sneered, "I'm waiting. Today, you can use any means you want. If you can't handle it, consider me the winner!" "Well. You’d better continue like this!" Dominick immediately called for reinforcements. Katie, who had just relieved her tension, became worried again. "Let's leave quickly. There's no need to confront them head-on." Adam shook his head. "Leaving is easy, but there's another hidden reason behind this incident today." Katie was puzzled. "What do you mean?" Adam's eyes flashed with a cold light, but he chose not to say more. Meanwhile, in the Tarot Club's most luxurious theater box, Robert said respectfully, "Sir, everything has been arranged. I didn't expose Drake the Dragon's identity as per your instructions." Black Dragon nodded. "You've done well in this matter. Sit down and chat. I've invited Paul; I'll introduce you two later." "Are you talking about Mr. Booker?" Robert was slightly taken aback. Paul Booker, the uncrowned king of the underground world in Lisle, rose to power three years ago and quickly became the pinnacle figure. With thunderous momentum, he swept aside all opponents and claimed the throne. Although the Byrons were a top-tier wealthy family, they were slightly inferior to Paul Booker. "Yeah, I supported his promotion three years ago," Black Dragon said. Robert was amazed. "Sir, Mr. Booker is also under your control?" Black Dragon nodded and then shook his head. "He's mine, but all thanks to Drake the Dragon." Robert was astonished. Shortly after, a middle-aged man with a firm face and a well-proportioned figure entered the private room. As soon as he walked in, he wore a smile on his face, bowed, and said, "Sir, when did you come to Lisle? I'll arrange for someone to greet you properly." Black Dragon waved his hand. "Skip the flashy stuff. I called you here today for two reasons. First, Drake the Dragon has settled in Lisle. Make sure your people don't provoke him, or even no one would be able to save you." Paul trembled all over, shocked. "What? Drake the Dragon is here?" Black Dragon gave him a glance. Paul looked embarrassed. "The second thing, this is Robert from the Byrons, also my person. In the future, you two should stay in contact and help each other out. Do your own duties well, and Drake the Dragon won't let you down." Robert and Paul nodded repeatedly. "Hmmm, Sir, can I... can I have a chance to meet Drake the Dragon?" Paul asked timidly.   Black Dragon's gaze slightly darkened. "Less talk, more action. I'll send you Drake the Dragon's picture to your phone shortly. Remember, no leaks, no spreading. Otherwise, you know the consequences." Both of them immediately nodded. At that moment, Paul's phone rang. As Paul was about to hang up, Black Dragon stood up and said, "You guys chat; I have something to attend to." The two of them escorted Black Dragon downstairs. Paul answered the call, and his face darkened instantly. "What? Someone caused trouble at your company? Injured your people? Wait for me; I'll be there right away."
