The next day, Nyx woke up less stressed. She didn’t wake up early to prepare breakfast for everyone or clean the house before going to school. Now that she is out of that house, she can wake up anytime she wants without constant screaming of orders.
She sat up on the bed and stretched her limbs. She rubbed the sleep off her eyes and looked out the window. The sun was up, warming her bed; the birds were singing by her window as the wind made the tree branches sway.
Nyx smiled.
She thought she could get used to it now that she was living a new chapter of her life.
Then there was a knock on her door.
‘Miss, master Celestino asked you to join him for breakfast.’
