Bello and Eugenie accompanied Nyx back to Celestino’s house and made sure she was okay after the debacle with Natalia. They sat on the couch with Klaus on Nyx’s lap.
“I'm fine, guys,” Nyx said as soon as they were in the living room.
“We are just making sure. Who knows, Natalia followed us and brought back up.” Eugenie said.
Nyx narrowed her eyes on her.
“You're worried about that, not that I could have another outburst and hurt you?” she asked.
Eugenie and Bello snorted.
“We trust you. You protect what is important to you. And as your best friends, we know you will protect us, not hurt us,” Bello said.
Nyx smiled at what they said.
“Thanks, guys. Your trust in me is something I need in this moment of confusion,” she said.
Bello and Eugenie hugged her from both sides.
