Chapter One

Kelsey was down the road from her favorite coffee shop, Delay Coffee. She stood their waiting for her best friend Addison or Addie what she called her. She looked down the road to see a familiar face with short light brown hair.
"Addie" She called out and walked towards her best friend who stood in front of a machine shop called Reid Ryders.
"Kels" Addie said motioning for her best friend to come follow her. Kelsey followed her into the shop and took in the seen that was in front of her. There was tons of tools that was on the wall and tool boxes as well. Tires that stood up against the wall. There was a desk where a man stood with oil and grease covered his lower half of his arms. He for some reason stood out. He had dirty blonde hair and on the right side of his shoulder he had something sticking out.
"Excuse me," Addie said to the main gaining his attention
"What can I do for you?" He said with a very confident voice that you could almost hear even if you were on the other side of the room. With or without the noise around us going on
"I need to have my transition replaced on my car" She said
"Can you pull your car up to one of these spots?"
"Sure" Addie said going to her car and pulling it up
She turned off her car as she parked in the place the man told her to. She got out and walked towards the man. I looked at him in curiosity. Sadly, I knew I was to shy to actually speak to the man here. However a question came to my mind that usually helped me to start talking to someone.
The man walked over to the car as Addie opened up the hood of the car. He looked inside closely.
"I can do it right now and have it done within about three hours" He says
"Um, We'll I can't really stay that long" She said then looked toward me "Kels, can you stay with my car and let me use your car? I have to meet up with my mom to grab Lizzie and Mason"
"Sure, I guess"
"Alright, We'll My name is Ryker by the way. I will personally be taking care of your car"
"Okay we'll I'm Addison or Addie the owner of the vehicle. This is my best friend Kelsey who will wait here with it until it's done to give me a call" She says pointing towards me
"Hi," I said shyly as Ryker looks at me right into my dark brown eyes as I notice his blue eyes that had a light gray tone.
"Hey" He says " I would shake your hands but I have grease everywhere"
