A Half an hour later once they are done with breakfast and Miguel has stopped speaking, Morgane just stares at him with awed disbelief. “I-I… am a half fey? Magic and all that other stuff exists but you guys hide it. How do I know you are really a Sytar?” asked Morgane in a slight disbelieving voice with a skeptical look on his face and Miguel could not blame him. Miguel got up from the barstool at the kitchen island before taking a few steps back from it. “Blooming hell!” exclaimed Morgane in utter shock as he stood up so fast that his chair topples to the floor as Miguel stood in front of him in his Sytar form. Where once pants as well as boots were there were goats’ legs with hooved feet and Miguel had horns.
“You… Your…” managed Morgane still in shock as he stumbles back a few feet when Miguel takes back his human form. “It’s okay, young one. Just breathe.” soothed Miguel as he slowly walks over to a hyperventilating Morgane. Morgane flinches when Miguel puts a hand on his shoulder but he does not pull away while he forces himself to take slower breathes. “f**k… I… Can you give me some time to think about this?” asked Morgane as he digs the palms of his hands into his eyes as tears of frustration and confusion burns them. “Yes… You can take a seat in the living room or go back to the guest room if you wish. Let me know when you are ready to call your parents.” stated Miguel in a soothing voice before he forces himself to step away from Morgane and begin cleaning up their morning meal.
Morgane rushes out of the kitchen and upstairs to the guest bedroom as everything inside him feels like it is breaking. He closes the door a little to hard before throwing himself onto the bed with a sob. Morgane wonders why this is happening to him and if he is cursed to be part of this new world. He knew even if he gets home that things will never be the same as he would live longer than those he loves and care for. While Miguel had explained about the world of magic and mythical beings, he had also told Miguel about qualities he has as a half fey. That he was semi-immortal and probably had some kind of magic that relates to nature. He let himself cry out all his confusion before he rolls onto his side to think about what he should do next. One thing Morgane knows is that he can trust Miguel as Miguel has been only honest and kind towards him.
Miguel fumes at the Seelie fey while he is worried about Morgane as he picks up the chair that Morgane had knocked over. His heart felt like it was torn in two when he had seen tears in Morganes eyes as the young man had rushed out of the kitchen. Miguel put on the kettle while he waits for the dishes to dry on the drying rack. Miguel made hot chocolate and put a few biscuits on a plate before he put everything on a tray. He made his way upstairs again before knocking on the guest room door. “Morgane… I am coming in…” warned Miguel before he gently opens the door causing Morgane to sit up as he rubs away the remainder of his tears with his hands.
“Here this will make you feel better.” soothed Miguel as he hands Morgane the hot chocolate after he had put down the tray. “Thanks…” murmured Morgane as he scoots to make space on the bed for Miguel before he accepts the hot chocolate. “I know it… Look it is s**t to be forced into our world like this. I will help you however I can.” promised Miguel with a warm gentle smile as he holds out the plate with cookies towards Morgane and his smile grows as Morgan takes one with a nod of thanks. “What do I do next?” asked Morgane in a small uncertain tone with a vulnerable expression that makes him look years younger then the twenty hears he had lived.
“We you mean. I going to help you through this and then help you adjust to your new life. But first I think you should finish your hot chocolate and then call your parents.” suggested Miguel with a warmer smile as he soothingly strokes Morgane’s hair with his free hand. Morgane takes a bite of the cookie to give himself some time to think. He was wondering if Miguel truly is as kind as he acts and what the Satyr would get out of helping him. Miguel had said he would enjoy teaching Morgane’s biological father a lesson for dumping Morgane in his care.
“Why are you helping me?” asked Morgane with a warm shy smile as he blushes as Miguel continues to stroke his hair soothingly. “Because I want to, Morgane. You were left in a horrible situation and it breaks my heart that you have been harmed in such a manner. I don’t know why but I feel some strange tugging in my soul and heart whenever you are around. Let’s leave it at that for now. “I… I… Thank you.” replied Morgane uncertainly as Miguel places a gentle hand on Morganes cheek and Miguel uses the thumb of that hand to wipe away as a stray tear escapes Morgane again.
“Now drink your hot chocolate and I will go and fetch my phone.” soothed Miguel as he gets up a little to fast. He does not know what is going on with himself as he had wanted to lean in and kiss away Morgane’s tear rather then just wiping it away. Miguel had to get hold of himself as Morgane is not just some mortal he can feast on. He promised that he would keep better control of his urges around the beautiful young man while he rushes to his own room to give himself some space from the vulnerable Morgane. He closes his own bedroom door and leans itself against it as he takes slow soothing breaths as he gets his lust under control.
By the time Miguel enters the guest bedroom again Morgane has composed himself. Miguel smiles as he notices that not only did Morgane finish the hot chocolate but also all the cookies on the plate. “Feeling better?” asked Miguel with a warm smile as he hands Morgane his phone and his heart swells as Morgane give him a warm genuine smile. “Yes. Thank you, Miguel. I am glad the bastard left me in your care.” stated Morgane with utter gratefulness in his tone of voice as he starts to dial his parents’ number with the correct overseas extension. Miguel was thankful when he did not have to answer as Morgane places the phone against his own ear. “Mom… I am fine…” stated Morgane with a beaming smile after his mother has answered the phone while tears run down his cheeks again. Miguel leaves before he can give into the urge to kiss them away.
