About halfway through the song, he abruptly stopped, the last cord hanging in the air, and whipped his head to the side. Daisuke came into the frame and tackled Dexter onto the bed, even taking his pillow to start hitting him with it.
“Shut the f**k up, dude!” he teased. “We’re watching a f*****g movie!”
“Sorry!” Dexter laughed. “I’m sorry!”
Maddie appeared next and picked up the phone, holding it up and giving her dazzling smile into the camera.
“If this is for Colin,” she said with an added wink before she turned it off. “Sorry, Colin.”
Colin, head still down on the desk and unable help the laughter that bubbled through him, got another text just as the video ended.
Dexter: I just got my ass kicked for you. Hope you’re happy.
He chuckled. Typed a quick answer.
Colin: Not happy. T
