Chapter 46 Evan paced back and forth in the isolated dirt parking lot like a lion in a cage. His throat felt raw from screaming at himself for his failure. The police had invaded his privacy, and his fury burned. Being denied access to his belongings made it all worse. Evan walked from one end of the parking lot to the other and back again. As he did, he watched, for the 12th time, the video that the cameras had saved to their supplier’s online cloud site. Each time he watched it, he felt his rage grow.
