Chapter 53 It was early morning, and Evan had spent the last two nights in a cheap roadside motel. He’d worked out a plan but wanted to be sure he wouldn’t need to return to the area before moving on. He’d lived in Tucson for the past two years and was reluctant to leave the area. This was the first time he felt like he had a home in a long time. However, leaving had become a necessity.
