Chapter 12 What is going on?

Arabella POV. 

My mom whispered something to Ethan. I could really hear what she said to him. After she leaves Ethan says “I guess you have to pack since you are going with me.” giving me a soft kiss. “Yeah let me go pack.” I say. “Let go,” he says. We walk to my room where I take out a small bag. “Nope you might want a bigger bag.” he says. “What do you mean? I thought it was only for a day or two,”I say confused. “With my family it might be a day or two. You and I are going on a mini vacation to catch up with each other.” he says. “Really where are we going then?” I say. I’m excited to spend more time with him. “Sorry baby but I can’t tell you.” he says. “Why not? How am I supposed to know what to pack?” I say. “I will help you okay.” He says.He walks to my closet and gets the bath suit he saw earlier. “Really Aless.” I say. “Yes I believe I have been good at giving you what you want don’t you think.” he says, smirking at me, he grabs my waist and gives me a kiss. “Fine only because what you have said is true so far. How about I pack the rest.” I say. I start to pack revealing nighties to tease him a bit.  “Ooo I can’t wait to see them soon on you.” he says with a smirk. “Don’t worry you will. I think I’m done, let's go.” I say. He helps me lock up all my doors and windows. We get to his car when I get a call from my manager saying “That I have a photoshoot to do.” she says. “When will that be? Who is doing the shoot  with me?” I say. “The shoot will be in 3 weeks. The person you are doing it with is Ethan Romano.” she says. “Really oh okay that’s fine.” I say ending the call. I turned to face Ethan and tell him “So you are doing a shoot with me?” “Uh well you see I wanted to talk to you so I had my manager look up photo shoots you are doing. I got the spot.” he says blushing. I honestly love it when he is blushing. It's super cute. “Awe bubba I love you and I’m not mad you are doing the photo shoot with me. If anything I’m glad to be doing it with you.” I say giving him a kiss. We get to his place and I see his family near a van. When we get out of the car Hannah comes running towards me and hugs me. “Bella you are back.” Hannah says. “Yes I am. How are you? You aren’t giving you brother a hard time are you?” I say. “I'm fine. I just want to know what is going on with my dad. I feel like I don’t know him anymore. He gets mad at everything I do.” Hannah says crying. Ethan quickly grabs her and hugs her trying to calm her down. “Hey princess it’s okay I’m here for you.” He says to hannah. “I’m sorry Ethan for being nothing but a b***h to you. I know why you and Bella broke up.” She says crying. “Princess, it's fine. I know you were heartbroken when we broke up. What do you mean you know why we broke up?” he says. “ I heard dad talking to someone about how someone had drugged you to sleep with Addison.” She says calming down. A lot of thoughts went into my mind when I heard Hannah say that. Why would someone want to drug their kid to sleep with someone else? Maybe he was forced to do this. “When did you find this out?” He says “A few days ago but dad caught me listening to his conversation. He told me so many things. That I wasn’t going to do anything with my life and how I'm the biggest failure.” she says crying. “Your father said that. Why didn’t you tell any of us?” Their mom asked her. His siblings were coming near us. Ama starts to hug me with tears in her eyes. Hearing what her father had said to his youngest kid “He told me if I told you mom he would send me away to Europe to study.” She says crying softly as Ethan continues to hold her trying to calm her down. “What the f**k” His siblings say. I could see he was trying so hard not to cry along with his other brother. His mother and Ama were crying just hearing Hannahs words. I felt water on my cheek. I didn’t even notice I was crying. “We should get going before dad’s men follow us.” Ethan says. “Ethan please don’t let me go please.” Hannah says begging for her brother. “Don’t worry princess I got you always and forever.” he says. I was sitting on the right side of Ethan and Hannah on his left. On our ride to Santa Cruz Hannah fell asleep. The rest of us were awake wondering why Ethan’s dad would do something like this. When we got there Hannah didn’t want to sleep alone so Amara, and their mom slept in the same room with her. I feel so bad that their father would say some hurtful words without knowing they cause emotional damage. Ethan and I have a room to ourselves. I noticed that Ethan couldn’t sleep. I wonder if it has to do with everything his father has done to their family. I hug from behind and give his back a kiss. He turns around and hides his face in my neck. “I can’t believe my dad would do that to me?” He says with tears in his eyes. “I know bubba maybe he has a reason for it.” I say trying to think his dad might be forced to do this. “No he is trying to prove his best friend was murder by her husband who is Addison’s dad.” He says bitterly. “So Addison’s dad killed his wife?” I asked confused. “Nope, I found her mother alive and doing well.” he says bitterly. “Why would she do that to her own kid.” I say. I feel sad that Addison didn’t grow up with mother love. “I will find out soon.” he says seriously. “Are you going to tell Addison and her father?” I say. “I will soon enough. Let’s go to sleep tomorrow is a big day.” He says. We did our own nightly routine. I couldn’t go to sleep quickly so many thoughts went to my mind. Why would his dad want to put my dad in jail for something he didn’t do? Is his father really heartless? After an hour I ended up sleeping. Wishing no one will be able to break us up again.
