Chapter 1 New Life

Arabella POV

I have been in New York 4 years working on my degree and I’m close to being done. I can’t wait to graduate and go home to my family. I have met a few new friends here in New York. They are Olivia Ryan and her fiance Grayson Christian. The proposal was beautiful. We took a trip to Greece. The reason being that Olivia has always wanted to be proposed in Greece and Grayson made her dream come true. I cried so much that day and I’m so happy for them. I wish them nothing but the better. They are perfect for each other Olivia is more on the wild side as for Grayson is more calm compared to her. They balance each other out. My other friend Avery Baker is more of a shy person but once you get to know her she is a great friend. She can get a little wild if she is with Olivia. Her boyfriend is Niklaus Davidson and he just gave her a promise ring that was a funny day actually. Avery was a little bit drunk and told Nik when he was going to propose. She ended up ruining the surprise Nik had planned for her which was giving her a promise ring. I think I cried that day. Who am I kidding, I did cry. It was just a funny but beautiful moment. Enough flashbacks I need to finish packing my graduation is in 2 days. As of right now I have clothes packed and ready to go. I just need a few more things and the rest I’m going to donate them. I forgot to mention my friends are moving to california also. I’m so happy I have them with me and helping me start my business. Just like I’m going to do with them. My phone starts to ring. I see it’s my mom. “Hi mom” “ Hi sweetheart, I'm almost done packing.” she said “ uh yes mom almost done just a few more things and the rest I’m going to donate” “that’s good I can’t wait for you for you to come home. I miss my baby so much. You are not allowed to leave me no more.” she said “I miss you too. I’m excited to see you and everyone. Mom you sound like dad. I can’t make no promises but I can tell you I will try to be home more. I love you mom. Tell my dad I love him you know how he gets. See you soon. Goodnight mom.” I said giggling “Don’t worry I will tell him if he doesn’t get me mad. Goodnight sweetheart I love you too” she said giggling.
