After that, I had a meal and went out to rent a car from a car-rental service I had seen at a crossroads; a black Kia Cerato that was relatively new and had a quiet engine. I wanted something that would be less noticeable if we had to do any tailing and that would be difficult to see in the dark. I told the car service person I was going to keep the car overnight, and he was fine with it, gleefully taking some additional cash from me. Tonia had been advised to meet me at 9 p.m. so that we could have an early start. Because both of my dreams had occurred late at night, I assumed they would continue their hunting pattern.
