As far as I know, PYM is registered as a training center for tech analysts and they are independent contractors that can be hired by either a private company or government. But their activities are all in private and their names are never mentioned in public to avoid conflict with the cases that they are working.
But since they are also dealing with high level case such as terrorism like the one we worked at New Zealand, they can’t avoid making enemies.
