“Down the” “hall, room 1417. They’re already waiting for you,” she said curtly. “Thank you,” Linus called over his shoulder as he marched down the hallway. Room 1417 was halfway down the long hallway, and its door was pushed closed, but not latched. As he rapped smartly upon it, it gave way, swinging open and revealing to him a medium-sized conference room. The table that dominated the center of the room was crafted from dark and sleek metal, able to easily seat a dozen people. Currently, though, only one man was sitting at it, thoroughly absorbed in the notebook that was in front of him. The two other men - one remarkably tall and slender and the other far shorter and sturdily built - were both standing next to a small table in the corner waiting for an ancient coffee maker to finish brew
