Carson Point of view After giving my father a long stare that was meant to mock him, I asked the wolves to take me to the dungeons. “Move, already.” The command was low but had the authority, and the wolves had no choice but to move. My father kept staring at us till we were out of his sight, and I felt relieved to know that I won’t have to stare at his face and not think of ways to kill him. It was impossible for me and my wolf to not kill him, and that was one of the reasons I never liked to be at the packhouse when he was around.
