Dad went to cook lunch for us after our crying session while I returned to my room to freshen up. Elijah opted to sit and wait for me in the living room. I was a mess inside and as soon as I was in the confines of my room; I was breaking down all over again.
After spending almost half an hour crying, I decided to take a shower to get my emotions under control. The more I thought about Elijah’s words, the more questions I had.
