Ian Dialogue
Ian, teleporting from one location to the next trying to reach the Ahmen in time. Eden, barely holding on, grasping Ian by the chest while in tears. Ian traveling through the shadows, stopping at different locations hidden from the public, allowing just enough time to catch his breath and make his next move. Now making their way through parts of Texas Ian stops by the mountain side near a large lake. The sun starts to set, and Ian has been teleporting for hours.
Ian facing Eden while resting "I'm sorry my love, I can not go at a faster pace. My powers are almost completely depleted, and I can't risk your safety any longer. We must rest and find another form of transportation. The sun is setting, the temperature is dropping, we must find shelter for tonight."
Eden tries to speak but her transformation was to much and had taken a toll on her. Her strength and will had long since squandered. Eden had used her remaining strength to seal and protect the orphanage from intruders. She wanted to know that when she left no harm would come to the sisters and the children.
Ian sits Eden down on the ground and leans her against a large oak tree."Don't try to speak, save your strength we still have a long way to go before we reach the Ahmen. Stay here my love, and I shall gather provisions and find shelter. I promise to return promptly, and I won't be long."
He kisses her lips gently, removes his leather-sleeved cardigan and places it on her shoulders to keep her warm. He teleports out and starts to gather wood and berries. Ian's survival skills and instincts emerge, and he builds a small rabbit trap from twigs, berries and the laces from his satin shirt. He builds the trap and teleports to the nearest mountain to look for shelter. He finds a rundown, abandoned cabin a few kilometers away.
Ian runs back to Eden to find that she had fainted and collapsed on the ground. Ian takes a deep breath and mustered his strength and picks Eden up and teleports back to the cabin. Ian then lays Eden down inside the cabin and teleports outside. He gathers wood from the ground, wild berries and a sizable rabbit that was caught on his trap. He teleports back to the cabin and started a fire. Ian searched the cabin and found stored water, candles and blankets inside an old wooden chest which he used to prepare a meal and make Eden feel comfortable. Eden still laying down under a deep slumber, wrapped in the blankets. Ian ate some of the unsavory stewed rabbit and berries and gulped down some water. All that mattered to him was to gain strength to continue to travel.
Ian stood by the fire deep in thought waiting for his Queen to arise."It took me so long to get back to you but even if we were worlds apart I still would have made my way back to you. It was torture having to keep away for 3 years, and I'm sorry it took so long.I shouldn't have let you use the last of your strength to fortify the orphanage, but I know what they meant to you. I could not bring myself to even begin to suggest otherwise. In our universe, Gaia life was cruel for you, unfair to say the least. Eden, as the Queen you often had to make hard decisions and gain many enemies. Lucky were the few you place your trust in, you always so independent and headstrong. We were forced to leave the way we did. Nowhere in Gaia would I have been able to protect you. We were at war, we lost so many, we lost so much. I nearly lost you, and all I could do for our kingdom, for you was to retreat. The Eastern and Western troops ambushed our Kingdom trying to dethrone you. I would have rather died then to have let all of your sacrifice be in vain. Everything you did to implement the peace treaty and save our people was defiled and abolished overnight. Their greed is unforgivable and unfortunate. We must survive and gather our strengths. We must fight and save our people and our kingdom. Even if I have to sacrifice myself, I will vanquish those who dare try to defy you. We are close to the Ahmen's village, not long now, the ritual shall commence and then we shall be able to wield our true power."
Ian shortly after sat down and dozed off to sleep. The next morning he was woken by the heat and piercing light of the sun shining through the windows. Eden still dazed in slumber became the true personification of a sleeping beauty.
Ian lets out a long sigh and chuckles sarcastically."Looks like we have to wait for the sun to go down a bit before we move. This heat will make it hard for me to carry you and teleport. I shall gather some supplies and we can head out in a few hours. Please wake up soon my love.I want to see those beautiful green eyes and that warm smile. Have you forgiven me for being away for so long? I almost lost you once and I will do anything to make sure that never happens again. My heart can't bear the thought of us being apart for so long, but a lifetime next to you is worth waiting many lifetimes. In this realm or any other, my life is with you now my Queen.
