The club we went to was loud, smelly, crammed, and had an air of overt erotic gay male sexuality hard at work. I loved it immediately.
Louise and Gary were right in their element and dragged me up to dance as soon as we arrived. I could also tell immediately why Louise liked it so much, not once did some random guy come up to us and interrupt our dancing, drinking, or attempts at talking over the music.
We did shots, we danced, and just when my head was beginning to swim, Gary led us through to a VIP area. “I’m obvs a VIP member, darlings. Can’t you tell?” It was quiet and much cooler. My spinning slowed but didn’t quite stop. We could also sit down and talk.
