Sonia’s POV The hours after Molly left felt stretched thin, like someone had taken the morning and pulled it out until it barely held together. I stayed in my room, pretending to be busy. Rearranging my desk. Folding and refolding the same cardigan three times. Playing a song halfway through before changing it, then turning the speaker off entirely.
