Chapter 7Ocren tried hiding his nerves while getting dressed. Derek hadn’t run screaming or called the cops, so maybe they’d be okay. Or maybe Derek would run away from him the first chance he got. He called the station. It would’ve been better if Derek had made the call, but he wanted someone to come to look at the destruction as fast as possible. There wasn’t much they could do without evidence, but at least Derek wouldn’t have to pay for the damage done to his apartment. With a filed report, the landlord’s insurance would cover the expenses.
