Herod consented, he wanted to see if Jesus was truth or fiction. But he got no satisfaction as Jesus didn’t entertain his curiosity, So he sent Him back to Pilate to deal with the catastrophe. Now, Pilate was under pressure from the messages he received, “Get rid of this Man He will destroy everything we have achieved.” “What shall I do with this Man?” confused Pilate asked the jury “Crucify Him!” they shouted, his doubting aroused their fury. “Let His blood be upon us and also on our off spring, “He is a blasphemer and He has the audacity to say He is the King.” Pilate was in an awkward situation concerning the Man from Galilee, The custom was to release Him, or a thief who was also in custody.
