You Have Got to be Kidding Me.... Right?

Lexi:

Wake up Lexi screamed again in her mind and opened her eyes back up to her horror Doyle was still there and seeing her fear he chuckled " I thought you were hoping you were lucky enough that I was Doyle huh" " no matter" he growls after you are changed you will only want to serve me" he whispered into Lexi's ear and she felt his fangs scratching at her neck, "Please!" yelled Lexi "Don't! at least not yet I don't even know you I have so many questions and I can not think while I'm trapped on this bed, please? Lexi looks into Doyle's eyes and begs, I did everything you said, she told him I even knocked out my protector to come here and help Anne, not that she needed my help now" Lexi thought and immediately a rush of anger swept over her body she felt so stupid and broken here she was risking her life to safe her best friend and her best friend sold her out with no qualms at all how she wished she could hit the rewind button on her life, Doyle smirked and said "hmm, I believe you have a point plus I am interested in hearing how you got away from those dogs" he chuckled, Lexi paused dogs she wondered at that insult it seemed to have some sort of hidden meaning, Doyle stood up and looked down at her "I will send a couple of girls to help you get ready for dinner, do not give them any trouble" his eyes flashed red and Lexi gasped, " I will also send a dress for you to wear I expect full cooperation at all times. Do you understand Lexi?" he asks gruffly " yes" Lexi responds knowing the longer she stalls the longer her heart would be beating not that it mattered who could save her from this vampire two cowboys sure couldn't they would just die trying to save her ugh Lexi grunted as she watched Doyle walk out of the room.

Nick and Travis:

At the motel, Travis rented them a banquet room the room was huge with a large wooden rectangular table at one end of the room and several small wooden square tables placed all over the room, each square table had four matching chairs the room was huge even when everybody was seated there was still four tables unoccupied Travis had also arranged for an assortment of different snacks and drinks, he waited until the food was brought in and arranged on the rectangular table before saying a word, he and Nick had just eaten but he didn't want anyone else to be hungry he knew from past experiences that when someone is hungry or tired they tend to be reckless and with Lexi's life on the line that was not going to happen if he could help it after everyone filled their plates and were seated again Travis signals to Nick to start the meeting, Nick stands up and sighs holding back tears he tells the room about how his and Travis's mate had been taken by vampires growls erupted throughout the room the one thing that werewolves lived for was finding their mate, having kids and protecting their family with their lives and knowing that their worse enemy a vampire had Travis and Nicks mate hit them hard they might not know the girl but they couldn't imagine if it was their mate, everyone in the room was ready to find Lexi and get her back into Nick and Travis's arms welll almost everybody one voice spoke up in a harsh voice "I heard your mate knocked you out so she could go to the bloodsuckers" he sneered instantly both him and Travis jumped up getting ready to attack the guy who would even dare think that let alone say it out loud.

Lexi:

It wasn't long after Doyle had left that Lexi heard footsteps again she looked over and seen two of the most beautiful women she had ever seen they could have been supermodels or movie stars both had blond hair but where one wore her hair short the other one had a ponytail that almost reached the floor both were at least 5 foot 8 and couldn't weigh anymore than 125 pounds but here they were, getting ready to help her get dressed for dinner as one of them bent over to unlock the cuffs on her wrists Lexi wondered if they were human or vampire she didn't have to wonder for long when she looked up and the woman flashed her a smile showing what looked to be very sharp fangs, Lexi shuttered knowing they could snap her like a twig if she fought them, "no" she thought better just go along with everything for now hopefully she might get some answers she sighed and rubbed her wrist when they were finally released and once her ankles were free she sat up her whole body aching from laying in the same position for so long "thank you" Lexi said trying to be friendly reminding herself that you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar although she really would have liked a flyswatter that took out vampires better, the short haired one smiled and said, "no problem we do what were told and by the way my name is Karen and this is Kelly" pointing to the long haired one, Lexi introduced herself then Karen says we dont have much time before dinner we better go ahead and give you your bath, "What!" Lexi shrieked " you have got to be kidding me! you can't give me a bath, I'm old enough to bathe myself" she was almost hyperventilating, "no," says Kelly quickly she means we are going to run you a bath not wash you" "oh" Lexi sighs the relief on her face was obvious, Karen then told her that the only thing they were there to do was her hair and makeup, oh and if she needed help with the zipper on the back of the dress, "okay," Lexi says "lets get this party started," Karen and Kelly look at each other and smile grabbing Lexi's hand to guide her to the bathroom.

Nick and Travis:

Travis's brother Ray grabbed ahold of Travis while his brother Dean grabbed onto Nick, calming down Travis shook Ray's hand off of him then turned toward the guy who had spoken getting in his face he growled " our mate Lexi doesn't even know vampires exist she thought her best friend was kidnapped by some human piece of s**t, it's not her fault she's a kind, caring, and kind of brave bordering on reckless woman, she is not the enemy! she's the victim" the man nodded and replied "not yet. I will fight with you to get her back but if she's been turned I'll consider her my enemy and won't hesitate to kill her" Travis and Nick both growled at hearing that but nodded because they knew if she was turned into a vampire she would be their enemy too. upon recognizing this they quickly turned to everyone and said "we got to hurry! any suggestions?"
