Oh, Well "What The H**l"?

Around 4:30 am that night Lexi woke up to a knock on her door, when she opened the door her heart almost stopped, standing there in just his boxers was Nick and in his hand was his cell phone what the h**l Lexi thought, Lexi, took the phone Nick was handing her, and to her surprise when she said hello her voice wasn't shaking it was eerily calm.

The voice on the phone angrily growled where are you? I know you're not at your apartment, Lexi, Lexi, Lexi, when I said I would be in touch I didn't mean for you to have your calls forward to hmm, let me guess one of your new boyfriends phone, but from the time it took him to answer the phone and the time you were put on it, it's safe to say you weren't in the same room so I guess that's at least something in your favor, what the f***k Lexi thought "why does it matter to you where I'm at or who I'm with as long as we don't tell anyone about Anne".

The man simply replies " because, Lexi you are mine, the only way Anne is getting out of this alive is when you take her place here," "you see Lexi" he continues "that night at the bar I sent two men to retrieve you not Anne, you are the one they were supposed to bring back" no concern I disposed of them" "why" Lexi asked the voice got deeper and answered, " just because they were idiots and couldn't see your beauty underneath the purple sweat outfit" Lexi thought oh s**t this guy is crazier than I thought,

After a few seconds of silence, he spoke again and said "okay so I am going to give you 72 hours to think about all I have said then I will call you again and give you details of where to meet me for the exchange if you don't answer or if you answer but it's not your apartment phone then Anne will come back to you without a heart, your choice my darling 72 hours from now and he hung up.

Lexi looks at the clock and it reads exactly 6 am, by this time she, Nick, and Travis was sitting on her bed, Lexi had put it on speaker so everyone could hear, she was in shock she had 3 days to either choose to let her best friend die or to take Anne's place, she looked at the guys, both looked as lost as she probably did, what am I going to do? she whispers, Nick and Travis, look at her and firmly tell her "you are not going to go with him you belong to us, no one else."

Lexi gets p****d she says " so I should let my best friend die instead of trying to save her, the guys looking about as p****d as her, say "no we are going to try and get her back but you are not sacrificing yourself."

"So what's the plan", Lexi asks afraid of the answer, and of course, they answer just like she thought they would both saying "I don't know", well we got 3 days to figure out one, so let's get started.

After Nick and Travis left her room, Lexi took a quick shower dressed in simple jeans and a t-shirt, then walked into the kitchen and started breakfast and a very strong pot of coffee, she needed all of her brain to be on high alert, the guys walk in just as she lays out french toast and bacon, she didn't feel like making a huge meal.

So today we were going to go through different scenarios and come up with different plans, well we know the scenario so now we need a plan so let's lay down what we know number one he didn't want Anne to begin with, number two he disposed of the men who said I wasn't good enough for him whatever that means number three he is giving me 3 days to decide if Anne lives or dies, and number four he wants me at the apartment when he calls for the answer, so most likely he plans to be at or near the apartment so he can go ahead and take me, Lexi reasons, then Travis says " so first off you won't be alone at your apartment Lexi argues that that would get Anne killed, that he might have other people watching the apartment, Travis tries to tell her that the kidnapper never said they couldn't be with her, but she's adamant that was one of those unspoken rules, after about ten minutes of silence Lexi starts sobbing so bad that she could barely breathe, Travis and Nick automatically go to her and start rubbing her back and hugging her telling her it was all going to be ok, she looked up and seen Travis' eyes looking at her with a mix of concern, lust, and adoration she quickly sought out Nicks' eyes and seen the same emotions running through them, she felt herself getting wet, a piece of her felt guilty for feeling that way, but then if she did trade places she didn't want a stranger that she never seen to take her virginity, she might barely know Travis and Nick but at least she liked what she sees so oh well, " what the h**l. guess we only live once right".
