An angry voice growled out of the speaker Lexi do you want Anne to die? Lexi gasped and said no, the voice said then why did you just what belongs to me to those two f*****g idiots I told you, YOU ARE MINE! he yelled making Lexi jump on Travis's lap then the voice calmly says now Lexi I know you're smarter than that, sitting on the idiots' lap is only going to make me kill Anne sooner than later, Lexi jumped off Travis' lap they all stood up looking around the one window, in the room had a heavy dark curtain on it and a blind underneath, the voice on the phone chuckled and said, you can't hide from me, Lexi there is nowhere you can go that I can't see you so Lexi if you still want the extra 2 days to save Anne then KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED! or she will die very slowly and painfully all because of you, Travis and Nick both yelled Hell, No it's not her you're the one doing all of this s**t, you crazy b*****d! the voice growled from the speaker better rope those cowboys in Lexi, for Anne's sake They all stopped when they heard a woman's scream from the phone Lexi whimpered that's Anne, then Anne starts screaming for Lexi to help her, Lexi pleads to the voice on the phone to stop hurting her that she would do the exchange in two days and wouldn't sleep with Travis and Nick again, both the guys turned to Lexi and their look said what the f**k, the voice said deal then hung up.

As soon as the phone shut off Nick and Travis both glared at her their voice calm and hard she could tell they were trying to control their tempers but the longer they looked at her the angrier they got, finally, Nick said why did you just do that are you completely out of your mind! you are not Joan of Arc you are not sacrificing yourself do you honestly think we are going to let you, his voice trying to soften, Travis taking a calmer tone said Lexi honey do you think that monster is going to let Anne go? No, he answered his own question Lexi looks at them both and starts crying and rambling about how she couldn't let Anne die.

Travis and Nick told Lexi to get dressed they were leaving she asked where they said they didn't know yet but more than likely the guy had hidden a camera in their house while they had been in Lexis apartment, Lexi hurries and gets dressed they jumped in the truck and started driving turning the opposite direction of the bar, while Travis drove Nick was messaging someone from Travis' phone, all three not saying a word, after 15 or 20 minutes they pulled into a long driveway, they passed a barn then pulled up to a similar-looking ranch style home this one just as impressive as theirs, Nick helped Lexi out of the truck and whispered in her ear not to say a word and to do everything she was told, Lexi was going to argue but seen the looks of concern on both Nicks' and Travis' faces and knew that she could trust them with her life especially after what the three of them had just done before that monster called.

Lexi and Nick followed Travis into the house a beautiful brown haired older looking woman smiled at her while Travis spoke to his mom he introduced his mom and Lexi his mom said hi while Lexi smiled and nodded after being told not to say a word she intended to do just that, Nick squeezed her hand smiling down at her, Travis' mom handed a suitcase to Travis he sat it next to the closed door then she handed Lexi a bag, Nick pulled Lexi down a hall into a small bedroom he walked over to a desk that was in the corner and picked up a paper tablet and pencil and wrote: I don't know if we have a bug on us so take off all of your clothes and put the ones in the bag on don't leave anything on no jewelry nothing. Lexi looked at him and nodded, he walked over to the closet and grabbed some clothes for himself then walked out smiling at her and blew her a kiss then walked to the bathroom to change, When Lexi walked down the hall she noticed Travis had changed too she saw his mom handing Nick a mobile phone and noticed Travis programming one as well then she handed Lexi another bag and hugged her Lexi smiled and hugged her back not knowing what else to do she usually wasn't big on hugs but right now she needed one, Nick noticed her ponytail and pulled the holder out and looked at her she knew he wanted to know if it was hers or not she put her hand to her mouth and shook her head mouthing sorry to him as he pulled her to him for a hug, she definitely needed his hug right now, she wanted more but knew that was a no go, Travis and Nick hugged his mom and then picked up the suitcase and walked to the back door, they stood there it seemed forever when suddenly a huge explosion sound rang out it sounded like it came from the barn she jumped as Travis pulled her out the back door into a waiting suv all three dropped to the floor the driver put bags of fertilizer over them then got in behind the wheel and slowly drove away from the house toward the barn, the guy stopped and asked if everything was okay the other guys at the barn said yeah so the driver waved and went on, Lexi was so glad she wasn't claustrophobic and hoped Nick and Travis wasn't as they drove down the curvy bumpy road that eventually turned into a smoother ride so she knew they were on the highway with her head on Travis's belly she fell asleep worrying what was going to happen next.
