“Ladies and gentlemen, Flight 1956 with nonstop service from Detroit Metro Airport to Raleigh-Durham International is now boarding all passengers,” the gate agent’s voice echoed across the terminal, stirring Tim from the sleep he’d almost fallen into. He’d gotten to the airport much earlier than he needed to, but that was part of the plan. Thank god the announcement had woken him, though, because there wasn’t another flight scheduled for the day and there was no way that he could go back to the BnB now if he’d missed it.
