The next afternoon, Kathleen slammed down her office phone after pleading for nearly twenty minutes with her most prominent toy distributor. Clenching her fists, she screamed, hearing too late the knock on her door. She rose from her seat and pulled the door open to find Josh there, just in time for his afternoon shift. He drew back his tall lanky frame, looking younger in his uncertainty. Normally he was confident, brazen even, but now he looked like he might be afraid. She quickly smiled. “It’s fine, Josh.
