" I cannot believe that you followed me here," Nina said after noticing Derrick's presence.
" Come on, aren't you happy to see me?" Derrick asked. This was not the reception that he was hoping for.
" Of course I am happy to see you, what's going on, what's popping?" Nina asked. She had to be in character despite the fact that she could not stand him. She had to act all cool with him just to get what she wanted.
" I am cool. Actually, I wanted to talk to you about something," Derrick disclosed and Nina was suddenly curious. She wanted to know what the hell he was talking about. Could he be aware that she is pretending?
" Oh, really?" Nina asked.
" Yea, I have been dying to tell you what I am about to tell you," Derrick said, adding to Nina's anxiety.
