Jason's heart thudded faster, hoping to see who it was. His heart nearly collapsing at the thought of Aunt Camilla finding out that he was the thief hiding behind the curtain. He was now a stranger, having no link to the Carter's family.
The sound of the beeping lock was heard, and the door finally opened. Jason froze when he saw that it was Eric. A lot of thoughts ran through his mind.
"What was Erick looking for? Did he know about the safe all along?" He looked at him as he glanced at the top of the shelf. Eric closed the door behind him and later walked out.
Jason knew it was his time to act. He quickly brought out his back and hid the age inside it.
He opened the door slowly and made sure no one was around the hallway.
