She regretted ever allowing Dmitri into the house in the first place. She wished she had stopped him from coming in, or at least, sent him away when he entered.
She wished she hadn't had the banter with him in the first place. She forgot that her mum was at home. She wished she had stopped him from stealing a kiss from her.
