ELARIAN “I heard what happened,” Jonathan’s voice came from behind me, and I turned around sharply to find him standing there with a glass of water in hand. “I thought you would need something to drink,” he added as he came to stand by my side and handed over the glass to me. I took it from him with a thin smile on my face. Still struggling to catch my breath after what I had just seen, I tried not to make it obvious that my entire world was crumbling inside of me.
