the alpha and the mate from hell

Chapter two

Jax's POV 

my eyes filled with rage as I hear the Rouges have tried to enter the border of our territory I growled lowly as I looked around. Ever since my 21st birthday I took over Alpha because my father passed away during a rouge attack trying to protect his mate my mother. I am now 22 it's looked down on me being a Alpha because I do not have a mate as of yet I mind link to my beta "please take care of the rouges you have found." 

My mother is still alive and she's guarded heavily because I can not loose both of my parents and she's my fill in Luna because she still wasn't suppose to retire just yet and I haven't found my Mate. My mind wonders as I smelled a scent it was oddly sweet like strawberry's and roses. I heard the knock as I smile my interview for the position of my secretary. 

"Come in!" I commanded as I hear the door open my eyes and body freeze as I see a girl she's wearing a black dress and her hair I haven't seen it before...it was odd but I loved it. My Wolf Alex screamed in my head and yelped happily "MATE MATE MATE MATE.." 

I tell him to shut up as I can't speak I hear her say "hello, I'm Jordan. And I am here for the interview." I hear her nervous but along with her sweet scent I sense something different about her. Human maybe? Witch? Sorcerer? Goddess? He thought as he cleared his throat 

"Hello Miss. I'm Jax. And your here for the job." I say as I can't take my  eyes off her as she nods. 

She rubbed her arm as if it bothered her or something but I try to ignore why she is. 

-20 minutes later- 

"Well you have the job welcome to the team. We do require if you wish to live on site. We do request it as our company is well known and we never know what will happen." I say as I know she's my Mate but if I let her go...live off our land she may be hurt. 

She smiles and shakes her head "I cant...or I shouldn't...my Roommate Jake and I need to stick together..." she says as my wolf growls at the males name but I nod 

"Well that's fine Mat- uhm Ma'am." I stop my self from saying Mate. I want to but I can't scare her! 

-Jordan's POV- 

After I got the job I refused to move in with him even though something pulls me to him I whisper sending a thought to my father "I think I may have found the one I want. But I will test it out..he is my boss."  I send to him as I know I won't hear anything else because of the fact of him being busy down there. I get back to house as Jake is gone I read the note as he says he is going for a jog I change into my pjs with the snap of my fingers I pet my cat Bentley as I uncover my tattoo i rub it wondering what it meant but my father did not even know.

I sigh as Bentley is a hunter and doesn't eat what humans feed their cats I let him outside as I sit on the steps watching the forest I lit a cigarette as I stare at it I take a drag as I felt something off I stood up my contacts aren't in anymore I sighed my bright orange eyes pierce around looking for what seemed off. I couldn't find it but I rub my tattoo as it burned like it did in the  interview.
