Hell on Earth

Act 1. Chapter 6 (1)

*Having woken up early in the morning , Rodriguez woke up the others and gathered, the guys moved to the Bacon. Fortunately, the infected had already left and it was possible to go without any special tests*

T-Ray(sigh): Phoenix, I 'm sorry for your temper yesterday

Phoenix (interrupting): Oh no, no, no, you have nothing to apologize. I'm sorry. Allison almost died because of me... Because of my cowardice. I promise it won't happen again

T. ray(nodding): I believe you. I..

Rodríguez (interrupting): Shhh! Ahead!

*The group hid behind all possible shelters, because there was a gang of bandits in front of them, who were beating up a homeless man. Among all the members of the gang stood out one, apparently the most important. The scar on his eye told of his severity. The man was dressed in a leather jacket , blue torn jeans, and good black berets. His hair was combed back and his fists were itching to slap him in the face. The leader was called the Beast, or so they called him*

Reggie: That 's it, Beast

Beast(hitting a homeless man ): This thing stole our food, how can I let it go after this?

Homeless(sadly): Please.. Not beat... I just wanted to eat..

Rudy (nodding): The main thing Is that my guitar was not taken

Tony: We don't give a s**t about your balalaika, we have nothing to eat now

Taylor: Hey, guys , there's someone poking around!

*The Beast took out a gun and shot the homeless man, and then moved the barrel towards the group. Seeing how a man was killed, Alba screamed and opened fire on them. Bandits did not spare a cartridge, unlike our heroes. Rodriguez accurately shot and killed a bandit named Taylor, which made the looters very angry. Because of Moldin's size, his shoulder was slightly protruding, and the Beast could see it clearly. As Chernov rose to fire, the leader of the gang got ahead of him and hit Moldin in the shoulder. He fell and groaned, trying to bear the pain. Phoenix and Soul dragged the wounded man behind cover, but the trouble didn't end there. The Beast hit Allison in the side, causing her to fall to the ground. Ray, seeing this, rushed to her and took off his windbreaker, clamped it over her wound. Matthew stared at his mother, who was bleeding profusely. After a couple of seconds, the shooting stopped, and the bandits fled, leaving their dead partner on the ground next to a homeless man. At Vicki's suggestion, Ray pressed the wound and lifted Ellie into his arms. Alba bandaged Moldin's arm and, with Soul, helped him up. Alba, as always, was only concerned and looked at her friends with regret. The others examined the bodies of the dead. Taylor was hit in the head with a bullet, and the homeless man died instantly from a hit to the chest. Realizing that it was impossible to delay, Rodriguez led the others forward and within a few minutes led them to the strange gate. They were met by men with machine guns who recognized their ally, and seconds later Bill came out as well*

T-Ray(letting out a tear): Bill..

Bill (sadly): Her... Was she bitten?

T-Ray (upset): No.. We ran into bandits, help her...

.......

[A few hours later]

*The group was sitting in a basement. Everyone was there except Moldin, Allison, and Matthew. They were taken away , and the rest were brought here, to this damp room. Their weapons were taken away , left with nothing, even the club was withdrawn*

Victorika (sarcastically): Let's go for Rodriguez, he will help us , well thought out, Nastya!

Varakushka(angrily): Don 't need to put it all on me! No one knew this would happen, and it wasn 't my brother who locked us in here

T-Ray: He said we 'd be released, it's temporary. We're new , they 'll sort it out and let us go

Laers (seriously): We've been here for twenty minutes

*Suddenly, the iron door opened and bill entered the room with two guards. Pointing at Ray, he called for him to follow, but only for him, which the others were not happy about*

Laers(folding his hands): Why only his?

Bill(without emotion): Of all of you, I don't know anyone as well as my own brother

T-Ray (calmly): It's going to be okay, guys, I'll make a deal

Laers(nodding): You better try

*The brothers left the basement, and the guards threw some blankets to the others, which surprised the guys. Bill and Ray went outside. The sun shone brightly and illuminated the entire settlement. The territory was separated by walls of various junk. Around the square were houses that differed only in height. Life was in full swing, people were going about their business, and security was mostly at the main gate, which was moved manually. It even had its own city hall, where all three community leaders were located, and a couple of houses away was a hospital*

Bill: Sorry for keeping you there, people think Ellie got bitten, and John and Otto decide your fate

T-Ray (surprised): What do you mean??

Bill: They don't know whether to leave you or not. Please tell me what really happened

T-Ray: There's nothing to tell, Rodriguez found us and we ran into bandits, or Moldin was injured

Bill (viciously): Who opened fire first?

T-Ray: They saw us and started shooting, and then they ran away

Bill (viciously): Called themselves as any?

T-Ray: No, why should we call ourselves?

Bill(rolling his eyes): I mean them

T-Ray: Ah, well, the main one was called the Beast, I don't know the others

Bill (nodding): Thank you, you don't have to tell me any more, come with me.

.....

* The brothers went into a building where in the distance two men were discussing something, and there was a guard around*

Bill: John, Otto, this is Ray, the leader of his band

T-Ray (interrupting): No, no, no, we don't have a leader

John (calmly): And how do you make decisions? Who directs you?

T-Ray: (shrugging his shoulders ): As it is not necessary yet

John( with a malicious smile): For now... Anyway, Ray, we discussed your group and how you saved Bill's wife . You can stay with us, but you will have to work, we do not like freeloaders.

T-Ray (smiling): Thank you , I'll tell my group... That is... My friends

*T-Ray Williams left the building, leaving the leaders alone*

John (smiling): Bill, since he's your brother, keep an eye on him . If he messes up , you will both answer

Bill (nodding): All right, John, I'll vouch for him

Otto(sitting down on a chair): MO-O-O-LE!

*At the call of the leader, one of the guards came running , his hat slightly peeled off on his forehead, and his stubble itched*

Mole(gruff voice): Hi, Bill, have you found your family yet?

Bill (smiling): Yes

Otto: Mole, Rodriguez said they came across a band of robbers... Take a couple of guys and go to our warehouse, check everything

Mole: it will be done! See you later, Bill
