What does life mean to people?
What life means for Dimitriis is having a small army of bodyguards around her and her twin brother Dimitri at all times by her father’s orders. And not just normal guards either but hand selected demon soldiers from her father’s guard.I bet you’re probably wondering why. Well my twin brother Dimitri and I aren’t your normal teenagers. We are the only children of the king of all that is evil. Which is rare to begin with but to make it even stranger is what Dimitri and I look alike. We have ice blue eyes that are almost clear and hair so black that even the darkest nights couldn’t compare. We are also rather tall even for demons Dimitri is 6’4” and I am just an inch shorter then him at 6’3”.
Father believes we are supposed to fulfill a prophesy which speaks of “twins born to the most unlikely of all creature with eyes of ice and locks of darkest night bearing the mark of eternal night.” I guess father would be the most unlikely person to have children. Some say father was the cruelest, evil and heartless person for thousands of years even after he met mother then when we were born they say father just changed, like we gave him humanity.
They say he took us with him everywhere he went. And here we are 17 years later and no one dares mess with Dimitri or myself for that matter and it’s not just because of father or the guards but because Dimitri and I are deadly in our own ways so much so that we even frighten father’s most lethal. To start off father had us trained in all forms of martial arts by the best, then he had us trained in guns and swords of all kinds we were also taught to drive vehicles of all sorts. Dimitri fancies the kitana, so he carries two with him hidden underneath his duster with to custom fitted sheathed pockets for them. I on the other hand like something a bit more powerful, I use two .44 magnums one located on each thigh, a knife in my boot and two .9mm in a dual shoulder holster. When it comes to Dimitri and I the only one who can match up with us is each other.
I was walking back from the shooting range when my black iPhone buzzed in my back pocket. It was Dimitri, father wanted to see us in the main hall which meant he probably had a job for us. We worked as his personal assassins because as he would say we were the best.
