Luther furrowed his brow at hearing this.
"It is a unique scenario, truly." Panicked, the manager issued a hasty apology.
Neither Katie nor Luther were individuals he could afford to enrage.N
"Ignore it. We do not really care as long as we can leave the airport promptly and there are no delays." Katie's pride was greatly satisfied when she observed the manager's circumspect demeanour. She spoke those remarks with an air of feigned generosity.%
"Mr. and Mrs. Hillary, I appreciate your patience." The manager quickly bowed.
"Um." Squeezing a phrase out of her nostril, Katie did so coldly.
Twelve somber-faced bodyguards in black suits escorted a skinny person out of the airport as they were leaving.
The figure was custom-made, with exquisitely defined details and high-definition private clothing.
Her long, straight legs drew the attention of nearly every man in attendance.
Her hair, which was long and somewhat curled, draped loosely over her chest.
The big sunglasses partially obscured her petite face.
Her flawless jawline, vivid red lips, and high nose, however, demonstrated that the tiny face hidden behind the sunglasses was incredibly gorgeous and remarkable.
A large splash occurred, which Luther and Katie were unable to avoid.
The bedyguard's mound, however, provided well protection for the individual. Luther and Katie could only make out a vague outline of a thin back.
"Is that a lady, really?" With a look of little surprise on her face, Katie asked. Katie had previously assumed that a powerful leader would be the noteworthy visitor to the airport who would be able to cause such a severe situation.
She never imagined that a lady would be involved.
She could also tell that individual was a rather young woman based on the back of her.
With her hot lips pressed together, Katie could not resist.
"Now, when these young women from wealthy backgrounds go out, they make such a great splash." As Katie talked, she covered up her jealousy.
Not even she made such a grand entrance.
Luther remarked, "If you like it, I can arrange it for you next time." He opened his mouth to speak.
"I am not interested in it. Katie remarked coquettishly as she tightened her hold on Luther's arm, "I just need you."
Luther murmured, "Okay," as the feeling beneath his eyes softened at once.
Before the stunning woman could enter the subterranean parking lot, the bodyguard had already led her there.
But the one who should have been there waiting did not show up.
The woman's stunning eyebrows wrinkled slightly behind the sunglasses.
She was about to pick up the phone when a black SUV suddenly pulled up beside her.N
Immediately, the bodyguards surrounded the woman, keeping her safe from all sides.N Just as it got close, the black Sty abruptly came to a lovely drift.
The black SUV came to a calm halt with a "screech."
And just like that, a tall, lean man leaped out of the driver's seat.N
He yelled straight at the woman in the centre.
"I apologise, Isa. I am a little late because of some traffic," John Clinton replied in a kindly tone.
The middle-positioned woman extended her hand and made a gesture.
The bodyguards who had been in the middle of her previously instantly broke apart into two rows.
With her hands behind her back and her gait light, the woman approached John.
She took her sunglasses off methodically and gently, and all of a sudden, her incredibly gorgeous face was in front of them.
Luther would have discovered that this woman and the lost Bella shared the same face if he had been present.
"Isa, it is been a long time. With an admiring expression on his face, John remarked, "You are getting more and more lovely."
Isa Bailey merely gave him a quick glance.
Isa replied, "The shirt is wrinkled, the hair is untidy, the face appears weary, and the eyes are still bloodshot. She sniffed as she walked over to John after saying that. She went on to explain, "There is still an alcohol-like odour on your body." You are not stuck in traffic on the road, in my opinion. You once more became inebriated while in the company of women last night.
"Hehe! Anyway, Isa, I am your counsellor. Be respectful towards me. After his cousin Isa revealed his falsehood, John displayed a rare look of embarrassment.
"Aunt Daisy called me over to assist you with the aftermath because of your stupidity!" Having to go back to this old spot had put Isa in a terribie mood.
Thus, she paid John, her cousin, absolutely no respect.
"Well, it is not so serious after all. I can handle that on my own." John gave his nose a remorseful pat.
"Aunt Daisy would not have sought to me for assistance if you could fix it." Isa glanced at him slantwise.
John was so humiliated that he dared not respond with a single word. All he could muster was a smile.
They would be scared half to death if they witnessed John, the fearless Devil Incarnate in Solemwood, acting so cautiously in front of a small child.
You have been soaring all day, Isa. You must be worn out. First, I will take you back to rest." Instead of being even slightly irate, John gently nudged Isa.
He even let her into the car.
"Not necessary. First, let us go greet those elderly foxes." Isa just would not let herself relax.
"Would you mind taking a nap first?" John was aware that Isa was prepared to do business.
Isa bowed to get into the car and said, "No, I want to solve it earlier so that I can return to Aunt Daisy earlier."
"Okay, then." John was well aware of Isa's fit of rage.
What she had chosen to do was unchangeable.
John went around to the driver's seat after closing the car door for her.
Isa sat silently in the backseat of the vehicle. She was idly fiddling with the shades while maintaining her long, fine lashes.
She cast a quick glance out the window. Nothing had changed from the scenario a year before.
That particular vehicle accident restored her memories rather than taking her life.
She returned to her true family after realising who she truly was."
The three years preceding that felt like a very long dream. But the anguish imprinted on her bones served as a constant reminder that it was all true.
"Isa, how are you doing?" With a frightened expression on her face, John stared at Isa.
"I am alright," With a retreating gaze, Isa cast a sidelong glance at John.
John whispered, "Remember to let me know if you need anything."8
Isa was on the verge of death when her family discovered her six months prior.
Later on, they managed to save Isa, but it was really difficult.
However, she remained silent about the events leading up to her disappearance, even though her family understood she had to be going through a terrible time at the time.
Therefore, her family members had never inquired about it so as not to agitate her.
"I got it. You are really annoying." Despite Isa's words, a warm sensation sprang in her heart.
She had a genetic connection to this family, and they genuinely loved her.
However, she was unable to disclose to her family the history of her bullying!
as it was too embarrassing!
But since she was back here this time, her original retaliation might be taken in the right way!, John parked his automobile in front of a building thirty minutes later.
Twelve middle-aged men sat around a big table in the building's conference room. The looks of all those middle-aged guys at this time were, more or less, discontented.
