I work in a hospital as a resident nurse. My work is to monitor patient’s conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Administering medications to patients and monitoring for reactions or side effects. I also record and update medical information and vital signs of patients for accurate reports.
I typically start my day with a report from the departing shift to get up-to-speed with any updates, from admissions and discharges to patients whose conditions may have improved or worsened. Next comes the count of medications, and then patient assessments, which generally include vitals and a medical evaluation.
