  Dominique.   I hesitated a bit at the front door that led to the conference room. As my hand pressed down on the cold door knob, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opaque finishing I'd coated the door in earlier before. I was definitely not ready for this meeting. Not that I wasn't prepared or anything. Even if I was startled awake in the middle of the night and asked something or anything related to business, I would answer immediately and without stuttering.
