  Dominique.   I slammed the door behind me, so hard it rattled its hinges. If I was being honest, I was expecting the door to fall right off, but after waiting a couple of moments without so much as a creak from the huge double doors, I relaxed. At least there wasn't going to be another casualty added to the list of things that had gone wrong today.   I let out a frustrated groan as I slumped onto one of the living room couches.
