Rain
Xavier and I stood up, we both heard a loud howl- I looked at Xavier and noticed that he was grunting and breathing hard, it looked like he was telepating with the other wolves, suddenly he whipped his head towards me, I flinched and took a step back, “they’re here for you” he smirked “alpha Cedric wasn’t lying after all” I frowned and looked at him confused “lying? about what?” he shook his head and grabbed my arm, “never mind, come on, I’ll help you meet them halfway”.
We walked cautiously in the shadows outside of the wooden cabins, the whole time Xavier walked in front of me and signaled for me to wait everytime we reached a corner or a turn between the cabins-he would check and look around for anyone, luckily it was pretty late so no one was around-except for the guards.
