"She's still not back."
Kade stood in my doorway. He was looking nervous.
"I know," I said.
"The alphas are still waiting. In the throne room."
"Fuck." I pulled on my shirt. "Tell them I'll be there in ten minutes."
"They've been waiting since dawn—"
"Then they can wait ten more minutes." I grabbed my jacket. "After this, I'm getting her. Whether she wants to come back or not."
Kade raised an eyebrow. "You're going to drag your runaway bride back by force?"
"If I have to."
Through the bond, I coudn’t feel her anymore.
Why wasn't she coming back? Her family clearly didn't want her. Did she hate me that much?
